Job Summary
Operate roll form machines, perform tooling setup and line changeovers, and adjust equipment to maintain dimensional tolerances. Monitor production for accuracy, read blueprints, and report inconsistencies while escalating significant issues. Execute routine maintenance on roll form equipment, log activities, and follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements. Safely move and organize raw materials using a forklift, package materials per order requirements, and adhere to daily 5S principles. Cross-train and collaborate to support team productivity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support other RiteScreen locations
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement
- Manufacturing experience in window or door production
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions, manage time well, and handle multiple tasks
- Effective verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
