Job Summary
Operate and monitor production line machinery in the wild bird seed production facility, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality, timely processing. Adjust machine settings for product specifications, perform regular checks, oversee production flow, perform changeovers between product types with minimal downtime, and maintain equipment. Conduct regular quality checks, record production data, and collaborate with Maintenance and Quality Control to address issues while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot production machinery
- Basic mathematical skills for monitoring production metrics and making adjustments
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime or weekend shifts
