Job Summary
Operate mechanical and/or hydraulic presses to produce parts per specifications; monitor operation for quality and efficiency; adjust stroke, pressure, and feed rates; conduct first piece inspections after setup; perform die setup/changeovers; align and secure dies; perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance; diagnose and troubleshoot press issues; escalate maintenance as needed; maintain production records and material traceability; follow safety procedures and use PPE; report equipment issues or material shortages; maintain clean, safe work areas; flexible to be cross-trained to other areas as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A year or more of operating presses in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
