Job Summary
Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot pouch production equipment to produce bubble pouches while ensuring first offs meet technical specifications. Execute changeovers according to standards, establish and improve equipment parameters, and secure necessary materials prior to set-ups. Oversee assistants and helpers by providing clear instructions, monitor inventory control, and minimize work-center downtime by reporting raw material or tooling issues immediately. Maintain accurate product identification and follow all safety practices during continuous standing and walking shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Intermediate math skills
- English written communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time
- Ability to work in space limited work area on continuous basis
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
- General computer knowledge
- Experience handling paperwork
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform the physical aspects of the role following recommended practices, with an emphasis on safety and injury prevention
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ Years in a Manufacturing environment / machine operator experience
- Inventory experience
