Job Summary
Prepare tanks by removing residue, check anodes, and make necessary additions. Set proper temperatures and cycle times while preparing board surfaces through various cleaning processes. Verify quality requirements on finished products and operate equipment for processes such as black oxide, deburr, desmear, electroless copper, pattern plating, nickel/gold, black hole, etchers, silver, and resist strip. Work Monday through Friday from 3:15 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. with some overtime available. Initial training may occur on the first or second shift for four to six weeks. This role supports plating processing for electrical conductivity on circuit boards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Standing for long periods of time
- Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally
- Good manual dexterity
- Good vision
- Ability to use plating thickness instruments including microscope, fixture and hand tools
