Job Summary
Machine Operator - Plastics operates and maintains injection molding equipment, sets up and runs machinery according to guidelines, inspects parts for defects and packs products to customer specifications. Responsibilities include following verbal and written instructions, keeping a clean and safe workspace, and packing finished parts. The role may involve learning other line jobs for breaks, working overtime, and performing intricate hand assembly on a fast-paced production line. Must have good eye-hand coordination and be able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repetitive motions in an environment with moving mechanical parts.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn other line jobs to serve as utility person for breaks and lunch
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Experience with or ability to do intricate hand assembly on fast paced assembly line
- Possess good eye-hand coordination for assembly purposes
