Job Summary
Machine Operator position in a full-time, third-shift role (10:30 PM–6:30 AM or 11 PM–7:00 AM, Sunday–Thursday) responsible for monitoring packaging equipment, filling feeders, and performing quality checks to meet product specifications. Duties include obtaining work schedules, communicating with the previous shift and maintenance teams, walking the line, performing pre-operation checklists, maintaining line supplies (film, glue bins, carton magazines), monitoring line speed and controls, minimizing downtime by reporting equipment issues, and coordinating with crew leads, supervisors, and maintenance to complete orders. Requires experience operating packaging equipment, mechanical aptitude, ability to follow written/verbal instructions, fluency in English, ability to stand for long periods, and the ability to lift 25–50 lbs in a fast-paced production environment. The position is based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, and emphasizes GMP and safety compliance, teamwork, and inclusion.
