Job Summary
Package bags and rolls into boxes, weigh inventory, and maintain accurate counts in our system. Perform quality control checks to ensure proper labeling before stacking finished product. Keep the work area clean by removing scrap material and cutting off cores from production lines. Alert Setup and Changeover Technicians using the light system to communicate production status. Measure small increments, read order specifications, and use basic math skills while regularly seeing, hearing, standing, and communicating. Frequently lift and move items up to 60 lbs, occasionally climb towers up to 35 ft, and stretch, bend, or balance. Work days from 8am to 8pm or nights from 8pm to 8am, three to four days per week with every other weekend off. Earn a 10% shift differential for night shifts and qualify for bi-annual profit sharing. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Measure small increments on a ruler
- Read order specifications in English
- Use basic math skills
- Regularly see, hear, stand and communicate
- Occasionally required to stretch, bend, climb, or balance
- Frequently required to lift and/or move 30 – 40 lbs., and up to 60 lbs.
- Must occasionally climb towers up to 35 ft high
- Cannot be afraid of heights
- Be punctual and arrive at the production line on time
