Job Summary
Operate extrusion equipment including line start-ups, winder operation and adjustment; perform quality checks using micrometer and tape measure; weigh and record product on travelers; package product per routing notes and ensure label accuracy; maintain clean and safe work area; follow safety and BRC guidelines; read travelers and work instructions; communicate with managers and co-workers, and be a dependable team member in a fast-paced production setting.
Required Qualifications
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read tape measure or ruler for quality checks
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions
- Must be able to obtain forklift certification
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
