Job Summary
The Machine Operator or Machine Tender/Packer is responsible for the safe operation of machinery, including winders, glue machines, and folder/stackers. Key responsibilities include performing routine tasks following company safety and quality policies, assisting operators with extruder start-ups, making quality checks, packaging finished goods, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with 1-2 years of mechanical or manufacturing experience. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, be motivated, energetic, and willing to learn. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment and may require overtime.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years mechanical experience or previous machine operator preferred
- 1-year previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of computers is desired
