Machine Operator - Nights

Job Summary
Assist the Operator in setting up and running production lines to meet quality and efficiency standards, including helping during die changes. Operate forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles to stage materials and supplies, while performing quality checks such as length/width, vacuum tests, and micrometer readings. Minimize scrap and maximize material recovery by supporting minor maintenance tasks, housekeeping duties, and troubleshooting with the Maintenance Team. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements while collaborating with team members across shifts for smooth transitions. This night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) includes rotating weekends and requires a high school diploma, forklift experience, and familiarity with SAP.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Forklift and industrial vehicle operation experience
- Ability to read a tape measure and document quality data
- Safety-conscious mindset and ability to follow standardized work instructions
- Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 12-Hour Rotating Shifts
- Includes Rotating Weekends
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Repetitive use of hands, wrists, shoulders, knees, and other joints
- Occasional stair and ladder climbing
Desired Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
