Job Summary
Operate extrusion lines to produce vinyl siding products and accessories, ensuring outputs meet specifications and quality standards. Maintain extruder and peripheral equipment settings, conduct line/panel checks for consistency, and perform quality assurance tests on finished goods. Assist with machine changeovers, troubleshoot operational problems, and communicate deviations to supervisory personnel. Perform housekeeping duties, monitor other associates, and float to relieve breaks as needed. Complete operational reports, punch time clocks, and adhere to safety protocols while lifting up to 100 lbs. Work the night shift (7 pm-7 am) on a 2-2-3 schedule at the Martinsburg, WV facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate/GED
- Six months of related or production experience
- Ability to perform the functions of an Extrusion Associate 1 and 2
- Ability to read, write and have working knowledge of machine mechanics
- Good mechanical aptitude
