Job Summary
Operate various production machinery in a manufacturing setting, maintain safe operations by following procedures, perform setup and minor adjustments, keep a clean and organized work area, conduct preventive maintenance, perform inspections and quality checks using measuring tools, adhere to schedules, participate in cross-training, operate forklift, and assist other operators as needed to ensure quality and efficient production.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specification sheets, and/or mechanical drawings
- Proficient in precision measurement using micrometer, calipers, height gauge, etc.
- Capable of using measuring instruments and hand tools
- Ability to read, write, perform basic arithmetic, and follow verbal and written instructions
