Job Summary
Prepare, operate, and maintain production machinery to manufacture concrete retaining wall products while ensuring safety, quality, and production numbers. Perform quality checks, complete paperwork, and operate forklifts to load and package products for inventory. Troubleshoot basic mechanical problems and work quickly in a fast-paced environment, often requiring overtime on Fridays or extended hours during busy seasons. This role involves significant physical activity including bending, twisting, and lifting up to 80 pounds while standing. Required Qualifications
- Must be safety oriented, and willing to follow safety processes and regulations
- Must be detail and quality oriented with the ability to use measuring instruments to perform basic quality checks
- Must possess mechanical aptitude and be able to identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical problems and irregularities
- Must be able to continue working as needed after normal shift hours to help complete an ongoing task
- Ability to work independently, but also in a group setting where teamwork and collaboration is key
- Physical capacity to lift up to 80 pounds on a regular basis
- Willing and able to work day or night shifts, overtime, at times 6 day weeks during the busy season, and adaptable to changing work hours
- Willing to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions
- Must be able to prepare, operate, and maintain production machinery to manufacture concrete retaining wall products
- Must be able to operate forklift on a regular basis
Desired Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience/ certification is a plus
