Job Summary
Continuously checks for print and seam quality, removes defective material, and splices roll webs using a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch. Handles rolls and palletizes them to prevent damage, while recording data on designated paperwork and the Globetek operation system. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Requires basic math skills for label counts, familiarity with Windows applications, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This role supports MCC's mission to develop sustainable packaging solutions and consumer-driven innovations for iconic brands across 25+ countries.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to use simple Windows-based applications
- Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
