Job Summary
Machine Operator position at Mondelēz International. You will independently operate and maintain packaging equipment (e.g., wrapper, robot, cartoner, bagger) using autonomous maintenance (AM) and progressive maintenance (PM) standards to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets. Under the direction of the Line Leader, you will follow standard work processes, report equipment losses, and ensure package integrity. Key skills include operating packaging machinery, teamwork, ergonomic awareness, effective English communication, and familiarity with IL6S concepts. The role emphasizes collaboration within a diverse team and adheres to safety and quality standards while supporting manufacturing goals across Ontario facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating machines with coaching
- Safety and quality standards for operating machines
- Reading and writing, fluency in site language
- Ability to collaborate in a diverse work environment
- Ability to lift rolls of film (10kg) and paper rolls and cases of cartons
- Ability to troubleshoot wrappers, cartoners, robots and baggers
- Ability to communicate in English with Line Leaders, team members and management
- Familiarity with IL6S concepts and related tools
