Machine Operator

Job Summary
Operate and maintain automated machines to manufacture products, performing set-ups, machine settings, and quality checks to ensure parts meet tight tolerances. Make adjustments to the machines to keep parts within dimensional tolerances, perform preventive maintenance and periodic quality checks, and conduct minor repairs when breakdowns occur. Manage material handling including loading large bundles of steel stock, and operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Follow all company procedures emphasizing safety and quality, maintain a clean workspace, and be prepared to perform other duties as assigned. Machines used include S4/P4, SIR, L3, LT8, and B3 from Salvagnini, SIR S.p.A., and BLM Group, with potential openings for specific machines. Requires strong math, ability to read blueprints/schematics, proficiency with basic tools and MS Office, and reliable attendance. Background check and drug screening required. EEO employer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing experience is required
- Minimum education of a high school diploma or its equivalent is required
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills are required; proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and sketches is a must
- Ability to operate a computer and its applications, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a must
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment is a plus
- Ability to use basic hand tools, measuring instruments, and power tools is a must
