Job Summary
Machine Operator – Mixer/Blender for second shift at The Gund Company. Responsible for operating manufacturing equipment to mix and blend ingredients for thermoset composite materials, using presses, forming, extrusion, pultrusion and/or shape machines. Performs manual work with hand tools and secondary/accessory equipment, compounds ingredients according to formulas, and ensures proper PPE and safety practices. Provides a non-climate-controlled production environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals. Requires a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education/experience; prior hands-on training in related manufacturing tasks is preferred.
