Machine Operator

Set up machinery with proper tooling, jigs, and settings to begin production runs. Start and operate production machines (wire draw lines, coiling, spooling, finishing) according to job specifications while monitoring operation and making adjustments to maintain quality and throughput. Inspect samples for conformance to specs, maintain production records, and perform cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance. Troubleshoot machine issues like jams or mis-feeds and escalate to maintenance when needed. Adhere to all safety standards including PPE and lockout/tagout protocols. Participate in shift change-overs by handing off to the next operator and documenting issues. Schedule and pay rate discussed upon interview.
