Job Summary
Operate special purpose machines to manufacture stretch film, tapes, and other products while setting up equipment and producing orders within specifications. Perform quality checks for defects, unload and load materials by hand, and handle finished rolls. Adhere to all safety rules and wear PPE, communicating with the supervisor regarding work orders, machine issues, and quality concerns. Accurately report production numbers and maintain an organized work area in compliance with company policies. Handle up to 30+ pounds for loading and packing, with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds. Work scheduled shifts and overtime in a fast-paced environment, requiring basic math skills and the ability to read production orders.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work the scheduled shifts and required overtime
- Must be able to lift 30+ pounds
- Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently
- Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force constantly
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to satisfy the requirements of pre-employment IPCS, Drug and Background screening
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be able to read and adhere to production orders
- Must be able to work with devices to measure gauge, micron, inch, foot, yard, meter, and others
