Job Summary
Perform routine setup, operation, and minor maintenance of moderately complex automated manufacturing equipment on a fast-paced assembly line. Control machine settings, inspect in-process parts for quality, and remove defective product while checking work against prescribed gauges and jigs. Assist with root-cause analysis for process exceptions and ensure accurate documentation of quality, safety, and maintenance records following Good Manufacturing Practices. Work within established operating procedures to plan and execute production functions including filling, packing, assembling, labeling, and inspecting. This second-shift role (3:55 PM – 12:24 AM) requires two years of manufacturing experience and proficiency in English, with overtime available as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years MO experience
- High school diploma
- AA technical degree
- Can effectively work in a team setting
- Ability to communicate effectively across the department
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be punctual
- Ability to work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature
- Skill to recognize any deviations from specification
- Ability to operate independently within the constraints of approved process-related documentation
- Proficient in English
- Ability to read
- Ability to write
- Ability to analyze/evaluate charts
- Ability to follow simple diagrams
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Basic proficiency with PCs
- Basic use of a Windows environment
- Must be able to work overtime as required
