Machine Operator Metals (2nd Shift)

Operate conventional machining centers to fabricate sheet metal, metal tubing products, and components. Mount and secure tools, fixtures, and work pieces; adjust feed, speed, and cutting tools when programming is faulty or machines malfunction. Measure finished work pieces against specifications using precision instruments and verify conformance. Stop machines to remove parts, change tooling, or adjust setup. Record work time and job functions on daily documents. Perform minor setup and adjustment functions while manually lifting work pieces to load and unload machinery. Shift runs Monday through Thursday from 4:00pm to 2:00am with a 7.5% differential. Requires high school diploma and six months to one year of related experience.
