Job Summary
Operate the AEM Unicore UCM45 machine to produce transformer cores by loading electrical steel coils, monitoring operation, and making basic adjustments. Inspect finished components for quality and defects, perform routine daily checks, and conduct basic preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot equipment issues and notify the supervisor, while safely operating hoists and material-handling equipment. Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety and production schedules. Requires high school diploma, basic mechanical aptitude, and forklift experience; hourly pay in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to sit or stand while operating the machine.
- Occasional bending, reaching, and material handling.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred, but not required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification preferred.
