Job Summary
Operate machine tools such as lathes and milling machines to produce metal parts, reviewing blueprints, identifying materials, and setting up workpieces. Plan cutting sequences, modify programs to address problems, and check accuracy against specifications while complying with safety rules. Requires ability to use manual and computer-controlled machinery, write basic CNC programs, and perform basic machine setups. Must stand 8-10 hours per shift, work overtime as needed, and possess good eye-hand coordination and solid math skills. Required Qualifications
- Ability to use manual and computer-controlled machinery
- Understanding of material speeds and feeds

- Must be able to do basic machine set ups
