Job Summary
Operate machinery, set up and string up equipment, draw wire, perform quality inspections, maintain records, troubleshoot minor issues, and handle materials. Work overtime, weekends, holidays, rotating, and swing shifts Monday through Sunday. Forklift training provided. Luvata Appleton LLC manufactures copper alloy wire products for the battery, ammunition, music, and electronic markets since 1964.
Required Qualifications
- Heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, and long term standing
- Pre-employment passing of physical, drug & alcohol screening and background check
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- All candidates must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, rotating and/or swing shifts as required Monday through Sunday
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands on machine operation and set up experience
