Job Summary
Machine Operator III performs a variety of machining operations using CNC and manual machines to fabricate metal work pieces. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing machine setups, ensuring production quality, maintaining a clean work area, and conducting safety practices. Continuous improvement and teamwork are emphasized. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot. Candidates must have relevant certification and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be certified to run 75% or more of the machines in the area
- High school diploma/GED
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience (2 years)
- Ability to read, communicate and interpret documents in English

- Ability to train new employees
- Demonstrates attention to detail and initiative
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work in a noisy, dusty industrial/manufacturing environment
- Ability to work overtime and/or move between shifts as needed
- Must have physical strength to frequently work more than 40 hours weekly
