Machine Operator / Line Technician – Automated Pallet Sorting

Job Summary
Operate and monitor an automated pallet sorting system; inspect plastic pallets and cardboard slip sheets for quality and usability; remove damaged or rejected materials from the line; manually restack, straighten, repair, or discard rejected materials as needed; ensure properly sorted and stacked materials are ready for robotic production use; perform light mechanical troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments; clear jams and resolve routine operational issues; maintain safe work practices at all times; keep the work area clean and organized; communicate equipment issues to maintenance and leadership as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and manual material handling
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Commitment to workplace safety
