Job Summary
Conduct coil setups by loading stock to the pay-off mechanism, adjusting micro settings through console controls, and threading material through leveler rolls. Confirm hardness, gauge width, and finished material conformity to customer specifications while stacking sheets according to order. Oversee packaging, verify final product dimensions, weigh shipping tags, and remove unused coils for inventory return. Detect faulty operation or defective material and refer issues to the supervisor. Record production data and time information. Shift runs 6:00am to 4:30pm with some nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined
- Production oriented
- Safety and quality conscious
- General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices
- Basic math skills
- Working knowledge of general computer programs
- 1st Shift- 6:00am-4:30pm
- Some nights and weekends
