Job Summary
Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to standard work instructions while inspecting finished parts using precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers. Monitor machine outputs to identify quality, machining, tooling, and process issues, escalating them to support associates to resume production. Complete preventative maintenance and routine machine care, then document production activities accurately to maintain manufacturing records. Participate in daily shift start-up meetings and provide or receive shift handoff reports to ensure smooth operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety procedures. Work the 2nd shift from 2:45 pm to 1:00 am, Mon-Fri, earning $18.40-$25.80 per hour with a $1,500 sign-on bonus payable after 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math skills, adding and subtracting fractions and decimals
- Self-motivated with an ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Passing required vision acuity testing, where applicable
- Shift: 2nd shift - 2:45 pm - 1:00 am (Mon-Fri)
- A willingness to work overtime hours as needed
- Lifting materials weighing 25–35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Working safely around manufacturing equipment
