Job Summary
Operate, set up, and maintain insert and mail-processing equipment in a high-volume production environment. Meet productivity standards and perform duties in a team setting, including running 100% mail for critical clients, troubleshooting equipment, and loading/unloading as needed. Responsibilities include machine setup for basic jobs, achieving targeted throughput, ensuring proper sorting per USPS requirements, recording output with job data capture to track time, maintaining an organized and safe work area, and adhering to quality control procedures and safety rules. No supervisory duties; review daily job schedules and communicate issues to the supervisor. Requires 2 years of experience with high-speed production equipment, HS/GED, USPS knowledge, and English fluency (Spanish preferred).
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience with high speed production/manufacturing equipment
- High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of USPS regulations
- English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking; bilingual Spanish preferred
