Job Summary
Machine Operator Lead overseeing daily production-machine operations, supervising up to 30 operators, troubleshooting equipment, and training staff to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency. Tracks machine performance (OEE), coordinates with vendors for parts, inputs data into spreadsheets, and ensures GMPs, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed. Works with the Production Value Stream Manager to meet production goals and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience working with machines in a production environment
- 2+ years of lead or supervisory experience preferred
- MS Excel proficiency for daily data entry and reporting
- Ability to lead a team of up to 30 people
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to de-escalate situations quickly and effectively
- Must be at least 21 years old per state law
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
