Job Summary
Machine Operator in the Metals department operating multiple manufacturing machines (e.g., drill press, brake press, punch press, folding machine, turret punch) on the night shift (5 p.m.–3:30 a.m.). Rotates between equipment to meet production needs, follows standardized work, reads blueprints, performs setup/change-overs, completes daily production reports, maintains safety and quality with minimal waste, coordinates with team to ensure correct product output, maintains inventory, and adheres to attendance and overtime requirements. On-site role with potential for bonuses; physical demands include frequent lifting and use of hands while standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience; ability to read and interpret basic documents and safety rules; 1-3 years manufacturing experience preferred; ability to perform measurements and calculations (tape measure, basic math); willingness to work night shift and overtime; able to lift 10-100 lbs and push/pull 25-100 lbs.
