Machine Operator - Lamination

Job Summary
Set up, calibrate, maintain, and repair lamination machinery while overseeing rollers and adjusting speed during production. Run test products to ensure quality meets standards, keep daily activity logs, and analyze machine output. Fit and assemble components, adjust machines for changeovers, and document deviations from specifications. Prioritize production schedules and drive continuous improvement efforts through standardized work to cut costs. Follow on-site safe work practices, wear required protective equipment, and report hazards. Requires 2+ years of CNC machine operator experience, ability to work day or evening shifts, and comfort with repetitive movements and extended standing.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience as a CNC Machine Operator on a production line
- Knowledge of lamination set ups on a CNC Machine
- Knowledge of using saws, cutting tools, and other hand tools
- Skilled with various methods of measurement and verification
- Comfortable with units of measure such as mm and inches (metric system)
- Comfortable with computer applications used in the manufacturing process
- Knowledge of Lean and 6S at work
- Experience working with diverse cultures and a varied workforce
- High School Diploma
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Valid Fall Protection training
- Valid First Aid certification
- Valid WHMIS training
