Machine Operator

Move and position material so machines can perform required operations, then cut, bend, and shape metal as part of the pre-assembly process. Accurately operate and read measuring devices while working on individually or team-operated equipment such as punch presses, press brakes, plasma cutters, laser cutters, shears, rollers, band saws, overhead cranes, robot work cells, and CNC machining centers. Enter data into computer programs and follow verbal and written work instructions to adhere to quality standards. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Train on and operate a variety of machines based on production demands.
