Job Summary

Prepare work areas for pre- and post-operational activities, load and unload product to and from equipment and conveyors, and monitor production lines while identifying issues. Sort, weigh, wrap, label, and verify product to meet specifications, ensuring proper placement in bags and machines to avoid seal issues. Inspect and remove defective products or packaging, perform lock out/tag out procedures, and modify or create program settings to meet production standards. Provide machine adjustments and troubleshooting, maintain a clean work area, and report safety hazards. Arrive at your workstation prepared to perform tasks at a scheduled time, staying until work is complete or until a supervisor indicates otherwise. Overtime may be necessary and is required when scheduled.

Required Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to understand and comply with company, plant, and safety rules/policies
Basic understanding of production and procedures
Ability to use knives, saws, and a variety of machinery
Ability to use both arms and hands to lift, load, cut and package product
Position requires completing and reading labels in English
Must be able to make precise adjustments
Must have basic troubleshooting skills
Must be able to modify and or create programs based on equipment, product and customer needs
Must be able to perform all job functions safely in accordance with food safety, GMP's and quality standards
Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Must be able to understand and communicate information
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be available for weekend shifts
Valid driver's license
