Job Summary
Operate machinery and inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment while maintaining accurate production records and maintenance logs. Adhere to site-specific quality systems, identify and document scrap, maintenance requests, and production errors, and report safety concerns or documentation issues promptly. Assist with continuous improvement projects and collaborate with peers and functional departments. Train others on operational procedures and demonstrate machining aptitude as needed. Work Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm with overtime available, earning $23.80 hourly plus bonus eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Manufacturing Experience
- Must be able to operate machinery
- Must be able to inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment
- Must be able to keep accurate production records
- Must be able to maintain maintenance logs
- Must be able to adhere to site specific quality systems and processes
- Must be able to identify and accurately record scrap
- Must be able to identify and accurately record maintenance requests
- Must be able to identify and accurately record production documents
- Must be able to operate simple manufacturing equipment
- Must demonstrate machining/mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to learn new responsibilities and tasks as needed
- Must be able to train others on operational and/or documentation procedures
- Must be able to identify and appropriately report safety concerns
- Must be able to identify and appropriately report production issues
- Must be able to identify and appropriately report documentation errors
- Must be able to assist execution of continuous improvement projects
- Must be able to effectively collaborate with peers, functional departments, and visitors
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years CNC Blueprint reading
- Measuring tools – calipers, micrometers, gauges
