Job Summary
The Machine Operator II at R.S. Hughes Company, Inc. is responsible for managing all facets of their assigned workstation to produce high-quality products in a timely manner. This role requires operational proficiency on multiple machines and involves setup, monitoring, and maintenance of production equipment. Key duties include ensuring safety standards, following manufacturing practices, reviewing work orders, performing quality checks, and maintaining productivity standards while minimizing waste. Ideal candidates possess strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to shifting workloads. A minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a production environment and a high school diploma or GED are required.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent Required
- 2-5 years’ of experience in a manufacturing/ production environment Required
- Demonstrated experience with rotary or flat-bed presses, slitters, rewinders Required
- English language capabilities (verbal/ written / computer) Required
