Job Summary
Machine Operator II performs set-ups, operates packaging equipment, identifies acceptable product quality per customer requirements, conducts wash/changeover of equipment, and documents results to ensure quality specifications are met. Maintains GMP/HACCP compliance, works in a manufacturing environment, and participates in a team-focused production process on the 6:00 PM–6:30 AM shift, including overtime as needed. Responsibilities include accurate equipment set-ups, operating and adjusting equipment, inspecting packages, staging materials for changeovers, completing required documentation, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Requires ability to stand long hours and lift up to 40 lbs; prior experience with GMPs and HACCP is preferred or willingness to learn; English literacy and good communication are beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Knowledgeable in GMPs and HACCP or willing to learn
- Reading/writing English preferred
- Ability to stand 80% of time, lift 40 lbs, overtime availability
