Job Summary
Machine Operator II on 2nd shift in Marinette, WI. Duties include performing hydro testing, running mass spec, buffing equipment (robot/ pendant use), cleaning, equipment troubleshooting, filling, gassing, spot welding, polishing, labeling, packaging and valve assembly. Operates medium complex production machinery (mass spec, buffer, labeler), semi-automated spot welder, chemical pumps, presses; sets up, adjusts machines, and performs routine maintenance. Monitors quality, ensures blueprints and standards are met, conducts first-piece inspections, enters labor hours in SAP, assists with training and cross-training, and communicates WIP needs and parts shortages to team leads. Maintains safety and housekeeping, participates in safety trainings, and supports continuous improvement through scorecards and dashboards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Must have reading, writing and simple math skills
- Must be able to or willing to learn how to read blueprints
- Must be a team-player
