Job Summary
Operate plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment to produce containers safely and efficiently, performing mold, insert, and color changes while monitoring resin, dryer, and material handling systems. Execute minor troubleshooting and programming on the line, assist with mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance, and conduct frequent quality checks against established standards. Participate in continuous quality improvement projects, assist in training new operators, and maintain work area housekeeping and documentation. Perform assigned utility tasks during slow periods and communicate processing information to incoming shift personnel. This night shift role requires 2 years of manufacturing experience, computer proficiency, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years in manufacturing
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
- Computer usage and typing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
