Job Summary
Operate hydraulic presses, bench grinders, and other fabrication machinery to produce and test parts per blueprints and technical drawings. Perform manual fabrication operations, minor routine maintenance on equipment, and evaluate materials using appropriate measuring instruments. Document work instructions, report discrepancies to supervisors, and maintain a safe environment by adhering to all safety protocols and PPE requirements. Support area organization and foster a continuous improvement mindset while meeting production deadlines. This role is subject to ITAR and EAR compliance, requiring the incumbent to be a U.S. Person.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must read, write and speak English
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to work well with engineers, supervisors and other machinist
- Able to manage tasks and meet production deadlines
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident, U.S. National, Refugee, or Asylee)
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- 0-2 years of factory experience
