Job Summary
Perform accurate set ups on packaging equipment, operate machinery with minor adjustments, and inspect packages to ensure quality specifications are met. Stage materials for change overs, complete required documentation, and maintain a clean works area while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and safety policies. Work in a manufacturing environment across multiple shifts, including overtime, requiring the ability to stand 80% of the time and lift up to 75 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be knowledgeable in GMPs and the HACCP program or willing to learn
- Sufficient math skills to calculate quantities of material required for orders being run
- Must have the ability to handle small tools
- Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to stand up to 80% of the time scheduled
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted and 40-75 lbs. assisted
- Must be able to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as across shifts
- Must be able to work well with others and communicate in a respectful and professional manner
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to read and write in English preferred
