Job Summary
Machine Operator I on Packaging handles set-ups, minor adjustments, and operation of packaging equipment for product runs on 2nd/3rd shifts. Responsibilities include ensuring quality per customer requirements, performing wash/changeovers, documenting results, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to GMP/HACCP. Requires 18+, ability to read/write English preferred, and ability to work overtime/weekends; payroll is hourly and located in McComb, OH with in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be knowledgeable in GMPs and the HACCP program or willing to learn.
- Sufficient math skills to calculate quantities of material required for orders being run.
- Good organizational and communication skills to prioritize work and communicate changes to line workers.
- Must have the ability to handle small tools.
- Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to read and write in English preferred.
