Job Summary
Set up, operate, and tend manufacturing equipment including bending, deburring, cutting, and packaging machines while performing minor changeovers and troubleshooting. Ensure product accuracy using approved measurement devices and maintain clean, safe work environments adhering to 5S and OSHA standards. Inspect produced parts for quality and fitment, double-check quantities, and adjust to new automation methods. Requires ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for up to 8 hours, and read manufacturing documents. On-site role with competitive hourly pay ranging from $20.00 to $24.00.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs
- Close and general vision
- Good hand eye coordination
- Ability to work on feet all day
- Ability to climb stairs occasionally
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodations
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment
- A minimum of 1 year working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read drawings and other manufacturing documents
- Attention to detail
- Able to adjust to new methods of automation which require nonconventional practices with regards to manufacturing
