Job Summary
Machine Operator I sets up and operates a designated machine per established procedures, with cross-training to support Assembler I duties. Responsibilities include following supervisor instructions, preparing and testing equipment at shift start, feeding stock, maintaining production flow, using measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, height gauges), communicating quality or equipment issues to the team, completing daily paperwork and production reporting, and assisting with 5S and general housekeeping while observing safety rules. The role requires willingness to learn new processes, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working a first shift (6:30am–5:00pm) in Charlevoix, MI. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0-1 year of experience in production preferred
