Job Summary
Operate all pillow manufacturing equipment while maintaining production areas free from debris and hazards. Perform repairs, verify machine setups, and fill feed hoppers with appropriate fibers for each work order. Report accurate production performance, downtime, and runtime using touch screen and RF equipment. Ensure all safety equipment and guards are operational, including lockout-tagout procedures. Work in extreme climate variations, lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing or pulling heavy objects. Requires 2+ years of machine maintenance experience, high school diploma, and strong analytical and math skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years Machine Maintenance Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- PC skills
- Strong analytical / problem solving skills
- Solid Math skills
- Experience with basic equipment repair
- Ability to frequently lift objects weighing up to and including 50 pounds
- Ability to frequently carry objects weighing up to and including 25 pounds
- Ability to push and/or pull objects weighing up to and including 50 pounds
- Ability to withstand exposure to extreme climate variations; exposure to heat and cold
- Ability to crawl, bend, kneel, climb and/or squat
- Ability to frequently stand/walk
