Job Summary
Operate hydraulic die cutting presses and atom flash cutters while pulling, packing, and labeling orders per established procedures and customer requirements. Process orders and inventory paperwork according to site procedures, ensuring full compliance with corporate policies, security standards, and Environmental Health and Safety protocols. Identify hazards and engage in continuous improvement to maintain a strong safety culture. This full-time role at 3M Aearo Technologies Newark Delaware offers a $24.61 starting rate plus a 1.00 shift differential, with new hires receiving three weeks of paid vacation and a 5% 401K match starting day one.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing or production environment
- Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with 3M
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
- Applicants must be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process
- All US-based 3M full time employees will need to sign an employee agreement as a condition of employment with 3M
Desired Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years in a manufacturing or production environment
- 1 to 2 years operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proven troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read measurement tools in metric format such as rulers, tape measure, and drop gauge
