Machine Operator I - 2nd Shift (Onsite)

Operate production machines on the 2nd shift (M-TH, 4:15 p.m. to 2:45 a.m.) to produce blades and/or vanes, and perform quality checks on the production line. Follow work instructions, demonstrate knowledge of machine shop practices, and work from drawings/sketches using precision measuring instruments. Train on the job to become proficient and certified in operations such as coatings, grinding, hole drilling, or finishing of turbine airfoils. Requires reading decimals and fractions, understanding machining methods, and possessing a High School Diploma / GED and U.S. citizenship. Role is onsite in Asheville, NC with potential overtime; shift work and adherence to safety and quality standards are expected.
