Job Summary
Machine Operator I is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining packaging equipment for Lifecore products in the final manufacturing stages. Tasks include labeling, printing, tray sealing, pouch packaging, and inspecting products; documenting completed work; participating in batch record reviews; maintaining cleanroom and gowning qualifications; and adhering to written operating procedures. Must be able to lift 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a team environment during the 2nd shift (3:15pm–1:45am). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least six months experience in the setup and operation of semi-automated manufacturing equipment
- Previous packaging in a medical device or equivalent regulated industry a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- The ability to comprehend and follow written operating procedures
- Able to lift 40 pounds
- Able to stand for the majority of your shift
