Job Summary
Start and stop machines safely without supervision, place and remove parts, and monitor operations while checking quality with measurement instruments. Assist in maintenance and repair, operate tools to aid manufacturing, and troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Produce quality parts according to targets and schedules, record machine actions and completed parts, and maintain a clean work area. Perform other duties assigned by the Plant Manager. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness to learn, and physical ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for long periods. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Willingness to follow written or oral work instructions
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
- Satisfactory pre-employment drug testing
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to work in shifts that may include early or late hours, weekends, or overtime if necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility
- Familiarity of various manufacturing tools and machinery including but not limited to facers, lathes, CNC's, and other mechanical machinery
- Bilingual language skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to be organized
- Ability to be detail-oriented
- Ability to lift heavy equipment
- Ability to bend
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
